Ransome’s story didn’t start at a rescue… it started in a home where he was deeply loved. But when sudden medical and financial hardships turned his family’s world upside down, they had to make the most heartbreaking decision of their lives — to let him go so he could have the stable, secure future they couldn’t provide.
The day he arrived at our rescue, Ransome sat quietly by the door, watching… waiting… hoping his family would walk back in. He was confused but gentle. Nervous but trusting. Even through the sadness in his eyes, his sweet spirit never faded.
Over time, Ransome has blossomed into the most affectionate, loyal little shadow you could imagine. He leans into you when you pet him. He follows you from room to room just to be near you. He gives the kind of soulful eye contact that says, “I’m yours if you’ll have me.”
